The beginning of this movie is a little predictable, and slow-ish. And then, BOOM! Gritty, uncomfortable, and brutal. It could’ve done without the rape scene. I understand what they were going for, but there are other ways to get there. It’s basically about a present-day bunch (5 or 6) of racist, desert rednecks that hate American-Indians, and go after them for nothing less than their skulls. The girl, on her way to move in with her black fiance, is driving through the desert and their paths cross, under terrible circumstances. They kidnap her, and she is brutalized to death…sort of. The rest you have to see for yourself.

It’s an original, well written story. The gore is in line with my horror/gore standards, with some surprises. I love that the hero is a bad-ass chick, but I’m not ok with the rape.
